How did this become the social norm?

So glad we’re not doing it this way.  So glad I found a woman who didn’t want one of these.

I am quite smitten.

    Hmm, yes and no. You’re right, more than 50% of these are applicable to us. But the complexity of crossing off them off is significantly reduced (guest list, invitations, lodging for out of town guests, caterer etc.)

    As far as being smug… you’re right. I could tone that down a bit.
